Mr. Flynn is President of First Eagle Alternative Credit. He also serves on the firm’s Global Investment Committee and the Investment Committee of its Direct Lending platform. Mr. Flynn oversees all aspects of First Eagle Alternative Credit’s business.
Mr. Flynn became part of First Eagle in 2020 upon the firm’s acquisition of THL Credit, where he was Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Flynn joined THL Credit in 2007 and served as Co-President and prior to that Managing Director of its Direct Lending platform. He was involved in origination and closing investments, portfolio management, capital raising and management of THL Credit’s direct lending private funds and accounts, and the establishment of the Chicago and New York offices of THL Credit’s Direct Lending platform.
Previously, Mr. Flynn was a Vice President at AIG in the Leveraged Capital Group. Mr. Flynn joined AIG in February 2005 after working for Black Diamond Capital Management, a hedge fund, as a Senior Financial Analyst. From 2000 to 2003, Mr. Flynn worked in a variety of roles at GE Capital, lastly as an Assistant Vice President within the Capital Markets Syndication Group. Prior to joining GE Capital, Mr. Flynn worked at BNP Paribas as a Financial Analyst and at Bank One as a Commercial Banker.
Mr. Flynn earned his M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance and Strategy from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Business and his B.A. in Finance from DePaul University.
Print CloseMr. Olson is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of First Eagle Alternative Credit, where he is responsible for finance, accounting and operations, and is directly involved in strategic initiatives and capital raising. He also serves on the Investment Committee of the firm’s Direct Lending platform.
Mr. Olson became part of First Eagle in January 2020 upon the firm’s acquisition of THL Credit, which he joined in February 2008. Previously, Mr. Olson spent ten years at Highland Capital Partners, a venture capital firm, where he served as Director of Finance and was responsible for the financial, tax and operational matters for Highland’s funds as well global activities in Europe and China. Before joining Highland, Mr. Olson was a Senior Manager at the accounting firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he worked with public and private companies in the financial services and technology sectors between 1989 and 1998.
He has been a presenter and speaker at numerous financial and private equity conferences and is active with several related industry groups, including the Financial Executive Alliance, where he serves on the Board of Directors.
Mr. Olson earned his B.S. in Accounting from Boston College.

Ms. Galeota has structured Term Loans for Borrowers across a variety of industries allowing the Borrowers to monetize assets such as inventory, accounts receivable, real estate, machinery & equipment, and intellectual property. Prior to joining First Eagle in July 2020, she worked for Gordon Brothers Finance Company, a portfolio company of Blackrock Capital Investment Corporation, where she sat on the company’s Investment Committee overseeing all investment opportunities. In her more than thirteen-year tenure at Gordon Brothers Finance Company and its predecessor companies she underwrote highly structured direct loans for both private and public companies focusing and evaluating investment risk. Additionally, she was involved in international opportunities providing structured loans to companies based in the UK, Europe, and Australia.
Prior to joining Gordon Brother Finance Company in 2006, Ms. Galeota was a Vice President at GMAC Commercial Finance and spent five years before that advising and providing financial analysis as a Senior Manager in Tofias’ Business Solutions Practice and as a Manager in KPMG’s Corporate Recovery Group. Earlier in her career Ms. Galeota was a Senior Analyst in Gordon Brother’s valuation practice. Ms. Galeota is also a past board member of the Northeast Chapter of the TMA. She holds a B.S. from Syracuse University and an MBA from Bentley College.

Ms. Handy became part of First Eagle in 2020 upon the firm’s acquisition of THL Credit. Prior to joining THL Credit in 2016, Ms. Handy worked at GE Capital where she held several roles in underwriting, portfolio management and workouts. Most recently, she was the COO of GE Capital Americas’ workout function.
Ms. Handy earned her M.S. in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her B.S. in Finance and Spanish from Boston College.
Print CloseMr. Klaff is a Senior Managing Director and Head of Asset Based Loans (ABL) for First Eagle Alternative Credit. He oversees the sourcing, underwriting and management of ABL. He also serves on the Investment Committee of the firm’s Direct Lending Platform for asset-based loans. Mr. Klaff has over 25 years of alternative investment experience. In July 2020, he joined First Eagle Alternative Credit to launch their Asset Based Lending term loan product. Mr. Klaff has an extensive network of contacts and relationships globally with banks, investment banks, advisory firms and private equity sponsors.
Prior to joining First Eagle Alternative Credit, Mr. Klaff was the Senior Managing Director leading Originations and Underwriting at Gordon Brothers Finance Company (GBFC), a portfolio company of BlackRock Capital Investment Corporation (BKCC), where he was involved in overseeing over a billion dollars of transactions. He also served on GBFC’s Investment Committee over-seeing all investment opportunities. In 2006, Mr. Klaff was the founding member and Managing Director of Gordon Brothers Merchant Partner, LLC a $330M hedge fund. Previously Mr. Klaff was Managing Director of Gordon Brothers, LLC structured loan team. Mr. Klaff joined Gordon Brothers Group in 1996 as a senior associate in the Valuation & Advisory Services Division and was also actively involved in business development and marketing opportunities. Mr. Klaff started his career holding various management roles and financial roles with several major retailers.
Mr. Klaff is currently on the executive committee of Secured Finance Network (“SFN”), formally the Commercial Finance Association. He is a past president and board member of the New England Chapter of SFN. In addition, he served as a board member and past president of the Northeast Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) and a director of the National TMA. Mr. Klaff earned his M.B.A. from the Kogod School of Business at American University and his B.A. from Hobart College.

Mr. Lee became part of First Eagle in 2020 upon the firm’s acquisition of THL Credit. Prior to joining THL Credit in 2017, Mr. Lee was a Director at Credit Suisse Asset Management in the Corporate Credit Solutions Group where he was responsible for originating, structuring, and monitoring investments for Credit Suisse Park View BDC, Inc. Prior to Credit Suisse Asset Management, Mr. Lee was a founding member of the team that developed and executed a middle market direct lending strategy using firm capital within the Investment Banking Division of Credit Suisse. Mr. Lee’s experience includes seven and a half years as an investment banker in the Los Angeles offices of both UBS and Credit Suisse where he originated, executed, and arranged leveraged loan and high yield transactions for financial sponsors and corporate clients.
Mr. Lee began his career as an Analyst at Stonington Partners, a $1.0 billion private equity fund established by the principals of Merrill Lynch Capital Partners, and subsequently held finance and corporate development roles at Webvan Group and DaVita prior to entering business school.
Mr. Lee earned his M.B.A. with Honors from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his B.A. in Economics from Columbia University.
Print CloseMr. McAuliffe is a managing director and Head of Origination and Structuring for First Eagle Alternative Credit’s Direct Lending platform. He has been a member of the team since 2005, when he joined NewStar Financial (acquired by First Eagle in December 2017). Prior to NewStar, Mr. McAuliffe was regional executive in Bank of America’s Metro New York region, leading its middle market lending business in the tristate area. He previously served in a variety of senior roles over a 20+ year career at FleetBoston Financial before its merger with Bank of America, including as president of Fleet’s Metro New York region (2003-2004); executive credit officer for the bank’s middle market business (2002-2003); and group executive for several national specialized lending groups including Oil & Gas, Transportation, Auto, Specialty Finance, Sports Finance, Utilities and Environmental Services (1999-2002).
Mr. McAuliffe has a BS degree in accounting from Manhattan College.

As a member of the Chicago investment team, he evaluates new investments, executes transactions and manages portfolio investments. He has been a member of the team since 2012, when he joined NewStar Financial (acquired by First Eagle in December 2017). At NewStar his roles included underwriting, origination and portfolio management of leveraged financings. Prior to that, Mr. Mulcahy was a vice president at Bank of America (legacy FleetBoston). Over nearly 11 years in the Northeast Middle Market Group, he served in various origination, portfolio-management and distressed-asset-restructuring roles.
Mr. Mulcahy received his BA in economics from the College of the Holy Cross.

Mr. Stephen became part of First Eagle in 2020 upon the firm’s acquisition of THL Credit. Prior to joining THL Credit in 2012, Mr. Stephen worked in the Restructuring Group at Lazard in New York, where he served in the investment banking division. Prior to Lazard, he worked at CDG Group, a middle market restructuring firm, where he specialized in corporate turnarounds and restructurings across a variety of industries.
Mr. Stephen earned his B.S. in Finance and Quantitative Perspectives from Bentley University.
Print CloseMr. Wendorf is a managing director of First Eagle Alternative Credit’s Direct Lending platform. He is responsible for originating, structuring and executing new investment opportunities. In more than 15 years of leveraged-finance experience, he has executed transactions across a wide range of industries, with a particular focus on insurance/financial services, software/technology and other business services.
Mr. Wendorf has been a member of the team since 2011, when he joined NewStar Financial (acquired by First Eagle in December 2017). Prior to NewStar, he was a director in the Corporate Finance Group at CapitalSource Finance, where he focused on originating and executing senior and second-lien debt facilities, primarily in the media, communications, and business services industries. While at CapitalSource, he led deal teams responsible for closing over 20 lead-agent transactions, resulting in commitments in excess of $500 million. Mr. Wendorf also served as an assistant vice president at GE Capital (formerly Heller Financial) in its Sponsor Finance Group, where he was responsible for underwriting and monitoring general industry credits. He began his career assisting clients on a wide variety of business valuation engagements in the Corporate Value Consulting Group at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
Mr. Wendorf earned a BBA degree from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, and he is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Mr. Wu became part of First Eagle in 2020 upon the firm’s acquisition of THL Credit. Prior to joining THL Credit in 2007, Mr. Wu worked in the Corporate Finance department at Yahoo! Inc. where he executed mergers & acquisitions and strategic partnerships. He was previously in the Investment Banking Division at Bear, Stearns & Co. in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Mr. Wu holds a BA in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.

From 2017-2019 Ms. McClary served as a product specialist for the team and was responsible for articulating key investment strategy content related to the firm’s middle market private credit offerings. She joined First Eagle in December 2017 when the firm acquired NewStar Financial.

Mr. Fellows became part of First Eagle in 2020 upon the firm’s acquisition of THL Credit. Mr. Fellows has more than twenty-eight years of investment industry experience, principally in the area of leveraged finance. Prior to joining THL Credit in 2012, Mr. Fellows was Co-Head, Alternative Credit Strategies Group of McDonnell Investment Management, LLC, where he helped establish and manage three cash flow CLOs, a leveraged loan opportunity fund and unleveraged fund and a separate account.
From 1998 to April 2004, Mr. Fellows was a Senior Vice President at Columbia Advisors, where he served as Co-Portfolio Manager for two continuously offered closed-end funds and four structured product vehicles from their inception, including two CLOs.
Prior to joining Columbia Advisors in 1998, Mr. Fellows was a Senior Credit Analyst for Van Kampen Investments in its Bank Loan Investment Group. While at Van Kampen, Mr. Fellows also served as a Credit Analyst for high-yield bonds and privately placed mezzanine bonds. Other responsibilities with Van Kampen included training junior credit analysts for its bank loans and high-yield groups. Mr. Fellows brings extensive knowledge of high-yield bank loans and high-yield bonds, as well as in-depth workout, restructuring and distressed investment experience.
Mr. Fellows earned his B.S. degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Nebraska, is a member of The CFA Institute, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Previously, he was an Analyst for Columbia Management Group in its Bank Loan Asset Management Group.
Mr. Champ earned his B.S. in Analytical Finance from Wake Forest University. He currently holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of Chicago and the Turnaround Management Association.

Mr. Hickey became part of First Eagle in 2020 upon the firm’s acquisition of THL Credit. Mr. Hickey has more than twenty-eight years of investment industry experience. Prior to joining THL Credit in 2012, Mr. Hickey was a Senior Credit Analyst/Senior Portfolio Manager in the Alternative Credit Strategies Group of McDonnell Investment Management, LLC.
Prior to joining McDonnell, Mr. Hickey was a Vice President at INVESCO Funds Inc. in Denver, Colorado, where he served as Portfolio Manager for the INVESCO High-Yield Fund and Co-Manager of the INVESCO Select Income Fund. In addition, Mr. Hickey co-managed the fixed income components of several sub-advised funds. During this time, he maintained primary credit coverage of the energy, gaming, metals/mining, media/entertainment and paper/forest products sectors of the high-yield market.
Mr. Hickey brings extensive knowledge of corporate, high-yield, and emerging market securities, as well as derivatives and hedging instruments throughout the entire credit spectrum. He also has experience with the management and regulatory aspects of the insurance industry.
Prior to joining INVESCO in 2001, Mr. Hickey was the director of corporate bonds for Van Kampen Investments. While at Van Kampen, he was also senior portfolio manager for several high-yield and high-grade corporate bond portfolios. Other responsibilities with Van Kampen included the management of an annuity company for OakRe Life/Xerox Financial Services Life Insurance.
Mr. Hickey earned his M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin.

From 1998 to May 2004, Mr. Krull was employed by Columbia Management Group as a member of the Bank Loan Asset Management Group. Mr. Krull served in various roles, most recently as the group’s bank loans trader, responsible for day-to-day cash management and trading activity of the group’s two mutual funds, Columbia Floating Rate Fund and Columbia Floating Rate Advantage Fund, as well as four structured products, with assets totaling $2.7 billion.

Prior to joining THL Credit in June 2012, Mr. Murphy was a Senior Credit Analyst/Senior Portfolio Manager in the Alternative Credit Strategies Group of McDonnell Investment Management, LLC.
From 1998 to May 2004, Mr. Murphy was employed by Columbia Advisors in the Bank Loan Asset Management Group as a Senior Credit Analyst covering telecommunications, media/broadcasting, and the cable industries.
Prior to joining Columbia Advisors, Mr. Murphy was employed by Van Kampen Investments from October 1991 through March 1998, most recently serving as an Assistant Portfolio Manager for the Van Kampen Prime Rate Income Trust, where he gained credit training and significant experience in all aspects of the bank loans asset class, including cash management, trade settlement, credit monitoring, portfolio surveillance and analysis.

Prior to joining THL Credit in 2012, Mr. Herzig was Head of ACS Product Strategy of the Alternative Credit Strategies Group of McDonnell Investment Management, LLC.
Previously, Mr. Herzig was a Managing Director and the Co-Head of Deutsche Bank’s (DB) CDO business in the Americas. In this role, he had oversight responsibilities for DB’s CLO underwriting and product placement, the hedging and risk management of its leveraged loan warehouse lines and also served as DB’s representative on the board of the Loan Securities Trading Association.
Prior to joining DB in 1999, Mr. Herzig spent nine years at Merrill Lynch, where he was a senior marketer of structured credit and interest rate derivative products to institutional investors in the United States. In this position, he was instrumental in the marketing and education process for a variety of new product initiatives targeting the life insurance industry.

Previously, Mr. Olson spent ten years at Highland Capital Partners, a venture capital firm, where he served as Director of Finance and was responsible for the financial, tax and operational matters for Highland’s funds as well global activities in Europe and China. Before joining Highland, Mr. Olson was a Senior Manager at the accounting firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he worked with public and private companies in the financial services and technology sectors between 1989 and 1998.
He has been a presenter and speaker at numerous financial and private equity conferences and is active with several related industry groups, including the Financial Executive Alliance, where he serves on the Board of Directors.

Prior to joining THL Credit in 2015, Ms. Rusnak-Carlson was a Partner in the Corporate Department and a member of the Finance, Multi-Tranche Finance and Distressed Debt Groups of Proskauer Rose LLP where she was responsible for representing alternative lenders in complex financings including acquisition financings, dividend recapitalization financings, asset-based loans, cash flow loans, cross-border and multi-currency loans, multi-tiered financing facilities, second-lien, unitranche, mezzanine, subordinated debt, and distressed debt facilities in addition to intercreditor agreements and debt restructurings.
Prior to joining Proskauer Rose, Ms. Rusnak-Carlson worked at Nutter McClennen & Fish LLP as an Associate and at Triage Consulting Group as a Financial Consultant.

She also served as the Principal Financial Officer and Treasurer for its two publicly traded closed-end funds. Prior to Four Wood, Ms. Wilson held several roles at Bank of America/Merrill Lynch including her role as an investment banking Director in the Financial Institutions Group and her role as a Business Manager for the Media, Telecom and Technology group. Ms. Wilson began her career at Deloitte & Touche in the Assurance & Advisory Services group.
Ms. Wilson is a licensed CPA. She also received her B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and her M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

Mr. Ness is the Director of Information Technology for First Eagle Alternative Credit. His role includes overseeing the organization’s infrastructure, software integrations, data management, cyber-security, and disaster recovery/business continuity planning.
Mr. Ness became part of First Eagle in 2020 upon the firm’s acquisition of THL Credit. Prior to joining THL Credit in 2015, Mr. Ness was the Chief Technology Officer at Shellback Capital LP where he managed all aspects of technology while overseeing cyber-security, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives. Previously, he was the Chief Technology Officer at Vinik Asset Management from 2007-2013 and prior to that, a Regional Team Lead at Eze Castle Integration.

Additionally, Mr. Rodgers has held positions at Coopers & Lybrand, Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Abbott Laboratories.
Mr. Rodgers earned his B.A. in Accountancy and Economics from the University of Stirling, Scotland and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.

Mr. Flynn became part of First Eagle in 2020 upon the firm’s acquisition of THL Credit, where he was Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Flynn joined THL Credit in 2007 and served as Co-President and prior to that Managing Director of its Direct Lending platform. He was involved in origination and closing investments, portfolio management, capital raising and management of THL Credit’s direct lending private funds and accounts, and the establishment of the Chicago and New York offices of THL Credit’s Direct Lending platform.
Previously, Mr. Flynn was a Vice President at AIG in the Leveraged Capital Group. Mr. Flynn joined AIG in February 2005 after working for Black Diamond Capital Management, a hedge fund, as a Senior Financial Analyst. From 2000 to 2003, Mr. Flynn worked in a variety of roles at GE Capital, lastly as an Assistant Vice President within the Capital Markets Syndication Group. Prior to joining GE Capital, Mr. Flynn worked at BNP Paribas as a Financial Analyst and at Bank One as a Commercial Banker.
Mr. Flynn earned his M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance and Strategy from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Business and his B.A. in Finance from DePaul University.

Mr. Olson became part of First Eagle in January 2020 upon the firm’s acquisition of THL Credit, which he joined in February 2008. Previously, Mr. Olson spent ten years at Highland Capital Partners, a venture capital firm, where he served as Director of Finance and was responsible for the financial, tax and operational matters for Highland’s funds as well global activities in Europe and China. Before joining Highland, Mr. Olson was a Senior Manager at the accounting firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he worked with public and private companies in the financial services and technology sectors between 1989 and 1998.
He has been a presenter and speaker at numerous financial and private equity conferences and is active with several related industry groups, including the Financial Executive Alliance, where he serves on the Board of Directors.
Mr. Olson earned his B.S. in Accounting from Boston College.

Ms. Rusnak-Carlson became part of First Eagle in 2020 upon the firm’s acquisition of THL Credit. Prior to joining THL Credit in 2015, Ms. Rusnak-Carlson was a Partner in the Corporate Department and a member of the Finance, Multi-Tranche Finance and Distressed Debt Groups of Proskauer Rose LLP where she was responsible for representing alternative lenders in complex financings including acquisition financings, dividend recapitalization financings, asset-based loans, cash flow loans, cross-border and multi-currency loans, multi-tiered financing facilities, second-lien, unitranche, mezzanine, subordinated debt, and distressed debt facilities in addition to intercreditor agreements and debt restructurings.
Prior to joining Proskauer Rose, Ms. Rusnak-Carlson worked at Nutter McClennen & Fish LLP as an Associate and at Triage Consulting Group as a Financial Consultant.
Ms. Rusnak-Carlson earned her J.D. from the Boston University School of Law and her B.S. in Business Administration from Georgetown University.

Mr. Fellows became part of First Eagle in 2020 upon the firm’s acquisition of THL Credit. Mr. Fellows has more than twenty-eight years of investment industry experience, principally in the area of leveraged finance. Prior to joining THL Credit in 2012, Mr. Fellows was Co-Head, Alternative Credit Strategies Group of McDonnell Investment Management, LLC, where he helped establish and manage three cash flow CLOs, a leveraged loan opportunity fund and unleveraged fund and a separate account.
From 1998 to April 2004, Mr. Fellows was a Senior Vice President at Columbia Advisors, where he served as Co-Portfolio Manager for two continuously offered closed-end funds and four structured product vehicles from their inception, including two CLOs.
Prior to joining Columbia Advisors in 1998, Mr. Fellows was a Senior Credit Analyst for Van Kampen Investments in its Bank Loan Investment Group. While at Van Kampen, Mr. Fellows also served as a Credit Analyst for high-yield bonds and privately placed mezzanine bonds. Other responsibilities with Van Kampen included training junior credit analysts for its bank loans and high-yield groups. Mr. Fellows brings extensive knowledge of high-yield bank loans and high-yield bonds, as well as in-depth workout, restructuring and distressed investment experience.
Mr. Fellows earned his B.S. degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Nebraska, is a member of The CFA Institute, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Ms. Galeota has structured Term Loans for Borrowers across a variety of industries allowing the Borrowers to monetize assets such as inventory, accounts receivable, real estate, machinery & equipment, and intellectual property. Prior to joining First Eagle in July 2020, she worked for Gordon Brothers Finance Company, a portfolio company of Blackrock Capital Investment Corporation, where she sat on the company’s Investment Committee overseeing all investment opportunities. In her more than thirteen-year tenure at Gordon Brothers Finance Company and its predecessor companies she underwrote highly structured direct loans for both private and public companies focusing and evaluating investment risk. Additionally, she was involved in international opportunities providing structured loans to companies based in the UK, Europe, and Australia.
Prior to joining Gordon Brother Finance Company in 2006, Ms. Galeota was a Vice President at GMAC Commercial Finance and spent five years before that advising and providing financial analysis as a Senior Manager in Tofias’ Business Solutions Practice and as a Manager in KPMG’s Corporate Recovery Group. Earlier in her career Ms. Galeota was a Senior Analyst in Gordon Brother’s valuation practice. Ms. Galeota is also a past board member of the Northeast Chapter of the TMA. She holds a B.S. from Syracuse University and an MBA from Bentley College.

Mr. Herzig became part of First Eagle in 2020 upon the firm’s acquisition of THL Credit. He has twenty years of investment industry experience. Prior to joining THL Credit in 2012, Mr. Herzig was Head of ACS Product Strategy of the Alternative Credit Strategies Group of McDonnell Investment Management, LLC.
Previously, Mr. Herzig was a Managing Director and the Co-Head of Deutsche Bank’s (DB) CDO business in the Americas. In this role, he had oversight responsibilities for DB’s CLO underwriting and product placement, the hedging and risk management of its leveraged loan warehouse lines and also served as DB’s representative on the board of the Loan Securities Trading Association.
Prior to joining DB in 1999, Mr. Herzig spent nine years at Merrill Lynch, where he was a senior marketer of structured credit and interest rate derivative products to institutional investors in the United States. In this position, he was instrumental in the marketing and education process for a variety of new product initiatives targeting the life insurance industry.
Mr. Herzig earned his B.A. in International Business and French from Lehigh University.

Mr. Hickey became part of First Eagle in 2020 upon the firm’s acquisition of THL Credit. Mr. Hickey has more than twenty-eight years of investment industry experience. Prior to joining THL Credit in 2012, Mr. Hickey was a Senior Credit Analyst/Senior Portfolio Manager in the Alternative Credit Strategies Group of McDonnell Investment Management, LLC.
Prior to joining McDonnell, Mr. Hickey was a Vice President at INVESCO Funds Inc. in Denver, Colorado, where he served as Portfolio Manager for the INVESCO High-Yield Fund and Co-Manager of the INVESCO Select Income Fund. In addition, Mr. Hickey co-managed the fixed income components of several sub-advised funds. During this time, he maintained primary credit coverage of the energy, gaming, metals/mining, media/entertainment and paper/forest products sectors of the high-yield market.
Mr. Hickey brings extensive knowledge of corporate, high-yield, and emerging market securities, as well as derivatives and hedging instruments throughout the entire credit spectrum. He also has experience with the management and regulatory aspects of the insurance industry.
Prior to joining INVESCO in 2001, Mr. Hickey was the director of corporate bonds for Van Kampen Investments. While at Van Kampen, he was also senior portfolio manager for several high-yield and high-grade corporate bond portfolios. Other responsibilities with Van Kampen included the management of an annuity company for OakRe Life/Xerox Financial Services Life Insurance.
Mr. Hickey earned his M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin.

Ms. Jackson focused on risk management, market and portfolio research, and performance analysis for new business initiatives. Ms. Jackson continues to be involved in these roles.
Ms. Jackson earned her B.A. in Mathematics and Secondary Education from Washington University in St. Louis.
Print CloseMr. Klaff is a Senior Managing Director and Head of Asset Based Loans (ABL) for First Eagle Alternative Credit. He oversees the sourcing, underwriting and management of ABL. He also serves on the Investment Committee of the firm’s Direct Lending Platform for asset-based loans. Mr. Klaff has over 25 years of alternative investment experience. In July 2020, he joined First Eagle Alternative Credit to launch their Asset Based Lending term loan product. Mr. Klaff has an extensive network of contacts and relationships globally with banks, investment banks, advisory firms and private equity sponsors.
Prior to joining First Eagle Alternative Credit, Mr. Klaff was the Senior Managing Director leading Originations and Underwriting at Gordon Brothers Finance Company (GBFC), a portfolio company of BlackRock Capital Investment Corporation (BKCC), where he was involved in overseeing over a billion dollars of transactions. He also served on GBFC’s Investment Committee over-seeing all investment opportunities. In 2006, Mr. Klaff was the founding member and Managing Director of Gordon Brothers Merchant Partner, LLC a $330M hedge fund. Previously Mr. Klaff was Managing Director of Gordon Brothers, LLC structured loan team. Mr. Klaff joined Gordon Brothers Group in 1996 as a senior associate in the Valuation & Advisory Services Division and was also actively involved in business development and marketing opportunities. Mr. Klaff started his career holding various management roles and financial roles with several major retailers.
Mr. Klaff is currently on the executive committee of Secured Finance Network (“SFN”), formally the Commercial Finance Association. He is a past president and board member of the New England Chapter of SFN. In addition, he served as a board member and past president of the Northeast Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) and a director of the National TMA. Mr. Klaff earned his M.B.A. from the Kogod School of Business at American University and his B.A. from Hobart College.

Prior to joining THL Credit in 2012, Mr. Krull was a Portfolio Manager/Head Trader of the Alternative Credit Strategies Group of McDonnell Investment Management, LLC.
From 1998 to May 2004, Mr. Krull was employed by Columbia Management Group as a member of the Bank Loan Asset Management Group. Mr. Krull served in various roles, most recently as the group’s bank loans trader, responsible for day-to-day cash management and trading activity of the group’s two mutual funds, Columbia Floating Rate Fund and Columbia Floating Rate Advantage Fund, as well as four structured products, with assets totaling $2.7 billion.
Mr. Krull earned his B.A. in Economics from Illinois Wesleyan University and is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Chicago.

Mr. Lee became part of First Eagle in 2020 upon the firm’s acquisition of THL Credit. Prior to joining THL Credit in 2017, Mr. Lee was a Director at Credit Suisse Asset Management in the Corporate Credit Solutions Group where he was responsible for originating, structuring, and monitoring investments for Credit Suisse Park View BDC, Inc. Prior to Credit Suisse Asset Management, Mr. Lee was a founding member of the team that developed and executed a middle market direct lending strategy using firm capital within the Investment Banking Division of Credit Suisse. Mr. Lee’s experience includes seven and a half years as an investment banker in the Los Angeles offices of both UBS and Credit Suisse where he originated, executed, and arranged leveraged loan and high yield transactions for financial sponsors and corporate clients.
Mr. Lee began his career as an Analyst at Stonington Partners, a $1.0 billion private equity fund established by the principals of Merrill Lynch Capital Partners, and subsequently held finance and corporate development roles at Webvan Group and DaVita prior to entering business school.
Mr. Lee earned his M.B.A. with Honors from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his B.A. in Economics from Columbia University.

He has been a member of the team since 2005, when he joined NewStar Financial (acquired by First Eagle in December 2017). Prior to NewStar, Mr. McAuliffe was regional executive in Bank of America’s Metro New York region, leading its middle market lending business in the tristate area. He previously served in a variety of senior roles over a 20+ year career at FleetBoston Financial before its merger with Bank of America, including as president of Fleet’s Metro New York region (2003-2004); executive credit officer for the bank’s middle market business (2002-2003); and group executive for several national specialized lending groups including Oil & Gas, Transportation, Auto, Specialty Finance, Sports Finance, Utilities and Environmental Services (1999-2002).
Mr. McAuliffe has a BS degree in accounting from Manhattan College.

As a member of the Chicago investment team, he evaluates new investments, executes transactions and manages portfolio investments. He has been a member of the team since 2012, when he joined NewStar Financial (acquired by First Eagle in December 2017). At NewStar his roles included underwriting, origination and portfolio management of leveraged financings. Prior to that, Mr. Mulcahy was a vice president at Bank of America (legacy FleetBoston). Over nearly 11 years in the Northeast Middle Market Group, he served in various origination, portfolio-management and distressed-asset-restructuring roles.
Mr. Mulcahy received his BA in economics from the College of the Holy Cross.

Prior to joining THL Credit in June 2012, Mr. Murphy was a Senior Credit Analyst/Senior Portfolio Manager in the Alternative Credit Strategies Group of McDonnell Investment Management, LLC.
From 1998 to May 2004, Mr. Murphy was employed by Columbia Advisors in the Bank Loan Asset Management Group as a Senior Credit Analyst covering telecommunications, media/broadcasting, and the cable industries.
Prior to joining Columbia Advisors, Mr. Murphy was employed by Van Kampen Investments from October 1991 through March 1998, most recently serving as an Assistant Portfolio Manager for the Van Kampen Prime Rate Income Trust, where he gained credit training and significant experience in all aspects of the bank loans asset class, including cash management, trade settlement, credit monitoring, portfolio surveillance and analysis.

In more than 15 years of leveraged-finance experience, he has executed transactions across a wide range of industries, with a particular focus on insurance/financial services, software/technology and other business services.
Mr. Wendorf has been a member of the team since 2011, when he joined NewStar Financial (acquired by First Eagle in December 2017). Prior to NewStar, he was a director in the Corporate Finance Group at CapitalSource Finance, where he focused on originating and executing senior and second-lien debt facilities, primarily in the media, communications, and business services industries. While at CapitalSource, he led deal teams responsible for closing over 20 lead-agent transactions, resulting in commitments in excess of $500 million. Mr. Wendorf also served as an assistant vice president at GE Capital (formerly Heller Financial) in its Sponsor Finance Group, where he was responsible for underwriting and monitoring general industry credits. He began his career assisting clients on a wide variety of business valuation engagements in the Corporate Value Consulting Group at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
Mr. Wendorf earned a BBA degree from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, and he is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Prior to Keurig Green Mountain, Mr. Karim worked as an Associate at the law firms Proskauer Rose LLP and Mayer Brown LLP, where he focused on commercial finance transactions.
Mr. Karim earned his J.D., cum laude, from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and his B.A., with honors, in Political Science from Trinity College (CT).

Ms. Wilson became part of First Eagle in 2020 upon the firm’s acquisition of THL Credit. Prior to joining THL Credit in 2018, Ms. Wilson was a Managing Partner and the CFO of Four Wood Capital Partners LLC where her responsibilities included managing all aspects of finance and accounting for the firm. She also served as the Principal Financial Officer and Treasurer for its two publicly traded closed-end funds. Prior to joining THL Credit in 2015, Mr. Ness was the Chief Technology Officer at Shellback Capital LP where he managed all aspects of technology while overseeing cyber-security, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives. Previously, he was the Chief Technology Officer at Vinik Asset Management from 2007-2013 and prior to that, a Regional Team Lead at Eze Castle Integration.
